Food Trader/Stallholder Permits

Planning to operate a temporary food stall, stand or operate a food vehicle at an event, market or fixed site? Find out about the application process and obtaining a permit here.

If you wish to set up a temporary food stall or operate as a mobile food vendor at an event or market within the City of Armadale you will need to complete and submit an application for a temporary food stall form to the City.

Temporary food stall applications must be submitted a minimum of 10 working days prior to the event.

Commercial (for-profit) food business

Commercial food businesses operating a stall or food vehicle, must be registered as food business under the Food Act 2008. To apply for a temporary food stall permit, you will need to submit a completed application for a temporary food stall along with the following supporting documents:

For not for-profit and charity vendors

To apply for a temporary food stall permit, you will need to submit a completed application for a temporary food stall along with the following supporting documents:

Please note: There are no fees for not-for-profit vendors

Sausage sizzles and cake stalls on Election Day

If you want to set up a sausage sizzle or cake stall on Election Day to raise funds and you are a charitable or not-for-profit organisation, sporting association or educational institution, you are NOT required to apply for a temporary food stall permit. However this is based on the condition that:
